About this Position: Job Title: System Architect Key Responsibilities:

Information Systems Strategy & Planning

Lead information systems planning aligned with organizational goals and multi-year roadmaps
Evaluate emerging technologies through IT research and strategic analysis
Perform IT impact analysis to assess business operational and financial implications of technology initiatives

Enterprise & Systems Architecture

Define and govern enterprise architecture frameworks across applications infrastructure data and security
Design and oversee systems architecture to ensure scalability interoperability and resiliency
Establish architectural principles reference architectures and technology roadmaps

Governance Standards & Policies

Establish and maintain IT governance models decision frameworks and accountability structures
Develop and enforce standards policies and architectural guidelines
Define and track metrics to measure performance value realization and architectural compliance

Risk Management & Compliance

Lead risk management activities related to technology security and operations
Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements including HIPAA and PCI
Partner with security and legal teams to address audit findings and risk mitigation strategies

Process Design & Organizational Enablement

Lead process design and optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and service delivery
Support organizational development through technology enablement and change management
Align people process and technology to support enterprise transformation

Financial & Budget Management

Provide strategic oversight of IT budget planning and management
Support cost modeling investment prioritization and return-on-investment analysis
Advise leadership on technology funding strategies and resource allocation

CTO Advisory & Executive Support

Provide CTO-level advisory services supporting executive decision-making
Translate complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations
Support vendor strategy sourcing decisions and contract evaluations

Leadership & Collaboration

Serve as a senior advisor to executive leadership and key stakeholders
Facilitate workshops strategy sessions and architecture reviews
Mentor technical leaders and promote best practices across teams
Produce and maintain clear architectural documentation and executive-level presentations

Required Skills & Expertise:

Senior-level expertise in IT strategy enterprise architecture and governance
Strong knowledge of systems architecture compliance and risk management
Experience aligning technology initiatives with business strategy and regulatory requirements
Proven ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on architectural levels
Excellent communication facilitation and executive engagement skills
Strong analytical decision-making and leadership capabilities
