Job Summary
Title: Senior DevOps Analyst
Location: Atlanta GA (Hybrid)
Type: Contract
Description:
- Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build test and deployment processes.
- Manage optimize and support cloud infrastructure across AWS Azure or GCP environments.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Build deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance availability and reliability ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Implement and maintain monitoring logging and alerting solutions (Prometheus Grafana ELK Splunk).
- Collaborate closely with development QA and security teams to support application delivery.
- Troubleshoot production issues perform root cause analysis and lead incident response activities.
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote DevOps best practices across teams.
- Support Agile DevOps and DevSecOps initiatives within the organization.
- Basic Qualifications (Required skills with minimum experience)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in DevOps Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
- Minimum 5 years of strong experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Minimum 6 years of strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux/Unix system administration.
- Minimum 4 years of experience using configuration management tools such as Ansible Chef or Puppet.
- Minimum 4 years of proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash Shell or Python.
- Minimum 4 years of experience supporting high-availability production-grade environments.
- Minimum 4 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Travel
- This position requires someone who can travel at least 3 days per week. Preferred location is Atlanta Georgia.
Degree:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to Have (But not mandatory):
- Experience with DevSecOps practices.
- Exposure to microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Helm ArgoCD or Spinnaker.
- Cloud or DevOps certifications (AWS Azure Kubernetes).
