Title: Senior UI Developer

Location: Atlanta GA (Hybrid)

Type: Contract

Description: (What this person will do on a daily/weekly basis):

• Design and develop responsive scalable web applications using modern front-end frameworks.
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality reusable and maintainable code.
• Build and maintain component-based UI architectures and enforce UI standards.
• Optimize UI applications for performance scalability and cross-browser compatibility.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility (WCAG) and usability standards.
• Perform code reviews enforce best practices and mentor junior UI developers.
• Collaborate with UX designers backend teams and product owners in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Troubleshoot UI issues and provide support during production releases.

Basic Qualifications:

• (Required skills with minimum experience)
• Minimum 8 years of overall experience in UI / Front-end development.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript (ES6).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in responsive design mobile-first development and cross-browser compatibility.
• Minimum 5 years of extensive hands-on experience with at least one modern front-end framework: Angular React or .
• Minimum 5 years of strong experience using Typescript in large-scale applications.
• Minimum 5 years of experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs.
• Minimum 5 years of proficiency with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Minimum 4 years of experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale UI applications.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest Jasmine or Karma.
• Minimum 4 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Travel
• This position requires someone who can travel at least 3 days per week. Preferred location is Atlanta Georgia
• Degree
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have (But not mandatory):

• Experience with micro-frontend architecture.
• Exposure to and build tools such as Webpack or Vite.
• Experience with UI performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience working on banking fintech or large enterprise applications.
