It aims to clarify misinformation and challenge misunderstandings surrounding asylum seekers through thought-provoking presentations engaging group activities and enlightening real-life stories in order to increase community cohesion and cultivate a more welcoming and inclusive opportunityYou will help to improve public understanding of asylum seekers refugees and migration by delivering interactive sessions in school forums. All information is presented within a humanitarian framework from a neutral and impartial perspective to allow participants to form their own conclusions. The impactAs part of the In Search of Safety Program you will contribute to changing the perception of your local community regarding people seeking safety in our country and around the world. Application requirementsFor this role you will be required to undertake a National Police Check which will be organised through Red CrossTo submit this an application you will be need to upload a recent copy of your CV and/or provide details for two professional referencesThe role will also require you to hold or apply for a Working With Children Check or Working With Vulnerable People Check depending on your State/Territory.
