This position offers union benefits and the pay is $38.12 per hour per the bargaining agreement. This position requires a Secret Maintenance Worker/HVAC performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in such trades as painting carpentry plumbing masonry and electrical Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Inspect HVAC equipment and systems to identify any issuesConduct assigned building toursRepair faulty HVAC equipment unitsApply predictive/preventive maintenance proceduresManage heating and plumbing systems to provide functionalityPlan and schedule HVAC repairsConduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standardPerform HVAC maintenance tasks assigned by compressorsComplete vibration analysisThis position will be required to perform on-call responsibilities which requires responding to emergencies within one hourRequirementsHigh School Diploma and 5-8 years skill and comfort in proactively building thinker with a track record for translating and executing strategic written and verbal communication to effectively interface with all levels of have or be able to obtain a Secret clearanceMust have or be able to obtain a Universal CFC licenseThis position includes working at heights and on ladders the ability to lift up to 75 lbs from time to time comfort with hand tools and completing tasks associated with preventive maintenance of building assets as well as work order repairs. A professional and courteous manner when interacting with federal employees and subcontractors is also vital.
