Job Summary
McDonaldGMC Cadillac is seeking a skilled Body Shop Structural Technician to join our team in Saginaw this role you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle structures to ensure safety and quality standards are met utilizing your expertise in structural diagnostics and repair techniques.
Responsibilities
- Inspect damaged vehicles and assess structural repair needs
- Perform frame straightening welding and other structural repairs
- Use specialized equipment to restore vehicle integrity
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all company and industry safety protocols and standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Body Shop Structural Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of vehicle structures frame straightening and welding techniques
- Ability to operate hydraulic and mechanical frame repair equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid drivers license and eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Must be certified or able to get certified in Unitized Structural Repair
