Our production leaders play a critical role in translating that standard into daily execution on the shop floor.
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee fabrication operations and lead a skilled team producing high-quality custom cabinetry and wood products. This role combines direct hands-on involvement with strong people leadership and operational discipline. The right candidate brings deep fabrication and CNC experience sound judgment and a commitment to continuous improvement.
What Youll Do
Production and Operations Leadership Oversee daily fabrication operations including CNC machining panel processing edge banding and build functions Ensure proper setup programming and operation of CNC equipment to produce accurate high-quality parts Develop maintain and enforce fabrication standards across hardwood CNC and build departments Monitor workflow and production readiness including coordination of field trim preparation Ensure production goals for safety quality productivity and cost are consistently met Coordinate availability of materials and supplies in support of production schedules Manage wood and raw material inventories to minimize waste and support on-time production Ensure preventive maintenance is completed and coordinate repairs to reduce downtime and scrap Maintain a clean organized and safety-compliant fabrication environment Troubleshoot machinery and production issues identify root causes and implement corrective actions Recommend and implement process improvements to improve efficiency quality and workflow Collaborate with other leaders to align fabrication with upstream and downstream operations
Employee Management and Development Train coach and develop team members across fabrication disciplines Provide cross-training to build a flexible and capable workforce Participate in hiring onboarding and skill assessments Conduct performance reviews provide ongoing feedback and address performance concerns when needed Partner with Human Resources on employee relations and consistent application of company policies Coordinate scheduling and vacation planning based on production needs
Leadership and Culture Demonstrate and reinforce company values through daily leadership behavior Foster a culture of accountability teamwork quality and continuous improvement Support operational and strategic initiatives through clear communication and follow-through
Safety and Compliance Enforce all safety programs procedures and regulatory requirements Actively participate in safety initiatives and committee efforts Identify safety risks proactively and ensure corrective actions are implemented
What You Bring
- 5 to 7 years of supervisory experience in fabrication woodworking CNC machining or similar manufacturing environments Strong working knowledge of woodworking techniques fabrication tools CNC machinery and equipment maintenance Ability to read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and production specifications Proven leadership skills including team development delegation and accountability Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills particularly in production and equipment troubleshooting Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong documentation and record-keeping skills High attention to detail with a consistent focus on quality standards Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently Reliable collaborative and hands-on leadership style Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment Must be fit for duty and able to make sound well-reasoned decisions
Schedule Location and Travel
- Full-time on-site position Based in Lansdale PA Minimal travel up to 5 percent
