Role Summary:

The Strategic Marketing Partner II is a seasoned strategist embedded within specific business units to drive alignment between business goals and marketing execution. The Strategic Marketing Partner II is responsible for leading the development execution and analysis of product strategies initiatives and planning within their specific area. They will serve as the trusted advisor to business line leaders translating insights into actionable go-to-market strategies and leading the execution of integrated marketing plans. This role will understand industry trends evaluate competitive positioning and use data to develop strategies and increase market share and product penetration. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor strategic thinking and influential leadership to deliver member-centric marketing that drives measurable impact.

What You Will Be Doing:

  1. Build strong relationships with assigned business unit leaders to understand strategic priorities challenges and opportunities.
  2. Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that align with business objectives and member needs.
  3. Lead cross-functional collaboration with product digital operations and member experience teams to ensure cohesive marketing execution.
  4. Use marketing research and analysis to uncover audience insights behavioral trends and competitive dynamics and data to lead the development of campaigns and participate in the development of project timelines and budgets.
  5. Monitor campaign performance and member impact across all channels and all markets determining if goals are achieved and set goals for future campaigns. providing timely reporting and optimization recommendations.
  6. Partner with marketing analytics to ensure strategies are informed by robust data and performance metrics.
  7. Represent marketing in business unit planning sessions and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  8. Support the AVP in aligning business unit marketing efforts with credit union marketing goals and standards.
  9. Become an expert in product lines and services performing regular competitive and Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities Threats (SWOT) analyses to make recommendations on product positioning pricing strengths and potential changes.
  10. Establish and maintain an understanding of economic regulatory and competitive influences and their effects on specific product lines geographic markets and demographics.
  11. Develop comprehensive marketing plans and calendars for assigned products and services.
  12. With limited supervision manage projects and coordinate with appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
  13. Lead and direct projects to ensure they are within scope on schedule and within projected budget.
  14. Produce and maintain reporting statistics to reflect status and report to managers and product or service stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  15. Assist with allocating Marketing Department resources such as scheduling meetings creating briefs coordinating production and campaign execution.
  16. Coordinate media placements with department leadership and various agencies; be point of contact for vendor relationships.
  17. Be a proactive and positive influence within the department and the credit union.
  18. Coordinate with internal communication teams and various resources to ensure staff are aware of marketing activities and campaigns.
  19. Understand and perform Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions as applicable to job responsibilities.
  20. Attend credit union training sessions conferences or seminars as approved by supervisor; maintain awareness of policies and regulations related to duties and responsibilities.
  21. Maintain thorough understanding of organizations within the credit union and goals and understand core values and objectives to be met through marketing.
  22. Display leadership values such as mutual respect honesty trust and dignity and acting in the best interest of the credit union; lead by example by always displaying solid ethics and integrity.
  23. Maintain and protect all sensitive data utilizing the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism.
  24. Control risk in all areas of assigned responsibility and operate in a safe and sound manner.

About You:

  1. Proven ability to develop and execute marketing plans based on business insights.
  2. Strong command of marketing analysis research methodologies and performance tracking.
  3. Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  4. Ability to synthesize complex data into clear actionable strategies.
  5. Deep understanding of member behaviors and motivations.
  6. Strong self-starter and organizational skills with the ability to build/set schedules create and manage budgets write product marketing plans and adhere to deadlines.
  7. Proficient in computer applications and an awareness of graphic and video standards.
  8. Work cohesively and successfully in a team environment.
  9. Able to initiate and manage workflows establish strong relationships with a diverse group of partners and negotiate with vendors and stakeholders on projects to be completed.


Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  1. Four (4) year degree with emphasis in Business Administration Marketing Finance Economics Business Analytics Management Communications or related field is required. Equivalent related work experience may be substituted in leu of education requirements.
  2. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing strategy planning or analytics.
  3. Experience working within or alongside business units to drive marketing outcomes.
  4. Demonstrated success in developing go-to-marketing strategies and integrated campaigns.
  5. Experience researching analyzing data and making informed recommendations based on findings.
  6. Proficiency with standard office equipment and business software Mac and Windows operating systems.
  7. Experience with CRM platforms and working knowledge of marketing automation software is strongly preferred.
  8. Comfortable in a fast-paced continuously changing and sometimes ambiguous work environment.
  9. Some travel is required to attend credit union training fulfill duties and for career development as approved.

Full Salary Range:

Richland WA: $29.90 - $49.83

Lynnwood WA: $33.97 - $56.62

Renton WA: $36.15 - $60.25

Spokane WA: $29.90 - $49.83

*While our full pay range is listed most new team members typically start between the minimum and midpoint based on their experience and qualifications. This approach gives room to grow within the role as your career progresses with us!
