Senior Assistant Accountant

Youll be the go-to expert for operational queries work closely with Management Accountants on monthly reporting and oversee key processes like accruals prepayments reconciliations and audits. Now lets talk about what youll do:
- Manage the day-to-day workload of your team of Assistant Accountants.
- Act as an operational escalation point within the team.
- Liaise closely with Management Accountants in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Accruals prepayments across all business departments
- Assist in cost tracking.
- Maintain financial records and ensure data accuracy.
- Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial data.
- Support compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Assist with audit preparation and external reporting requirements.
What youll bring:
- Studying towards ACA ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role required.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Salary: Up to 36000
