We are seeking a Manager to help with the operationalization of a large-scale collaborative Rail transit project. This individual will act as a Strategic Builder ideally possessing the ability to translate complex legal and commercial frameworksspecifically the Alliance Development Agreement (ADA)into a high-performing functional team

  • (Internal Title:Project Management IV)
    • Expertise in Collaborative Procurement: A general understanding of the Collaborative Procurement models is essential. Knowledge of Alliance procurement including familiarity with Alliance documentation (PAA/ADA) understanding the nuances of the Best Athlete approach and Value-for-Money (VfM) principles is a bonus
    • Contractual & Regulatory Literacy: Proven ability to interpret and implement complex legal documents to ensure the Alliance is positioned for success from Day 1
    • Transit Sector Specialization: Experience within Transit or Transportation infrastructure is highly preferred. The ideal candidate would be fluent in industry-specific jargon and technical requirements
    • High-Level Stakeholder Diplomacy: Exceptional diplomatic acumen to navigate and align multiple Non-Owner Participants (NOPs) and the Owner Participant (OP) during the critical stand-up phase
    • Operational Architecture: Comprehensive knowledge of the tools processes and governance structures required to launch a new entity. This includes drafting Terms of Reference establishing approval workflows and creating standard operating templates
    • Outcome-Oriented Facilitation: A track record of leading high-stakes workshops that transition from abstract strategy to tangible actionable project outputs
    • Manage and implement the assigned projects from inception through to completion
    • Develop new project or program plans and expectations in consultation with and delegating deliverables to stakeholders including clients
    • Determine and manage the human and material resources required to complete assigned projects successfully
    • Formulate a resource allocation strategy and utilize this to distribute work and budgets
    • Exercise authority in managing the work and control the delivery of the projects per project plans
    • Review and ensure adherence to the overall scope schedule and budget
    • Identify risks and entrench mitigation strategies and contingency plans
    • Monitor and report on performance against project requirements schedule milestones budgets quality measures and KPIs and address issues with corrective actions as appropriate to ensure excellence and adherence to specified deadlines
    • Evaluate the projects effectiveness by consulting with clients and other stakeholders
    • Establish and deliver progress reports proposals and presentations to various audiences including the project team client executives key stakeholders and Operations
    • Lead scope change negotiations
    • Oversee ongoing quality control participate in quality issue resolution and manage internal quality control checks for the project
    • Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycle

Requirements
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 12 years of experience in Project Management in Rail and Transit Industry
  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in a relevant field
  • Licenses OR Certifications:
    • Holding a recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong understanding of prevailing Project Management methods in Rail and Transit industry
    • Extensive knowledge of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performance
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
    • Proficient in Project Management software
    • Must maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies methods and best practices
    • Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
    • Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
    • Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
    • Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured disciplined technology-driven environment
    • Proven capacity to anticipate identify and minimize risks
    • Expert ability to detect capitalize and be sensitive to others strengths
    • Demonstrated capability to supervise delegate and develop capacity
    • Tact to perceive and ameliorate conflict and tension
    • Effectively leads multi-resource Project Management teams
    • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment by ensuring effective teamwork promotion of innovation and overall excellence
    • Demonstrated functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
    • Proven success in providing on-site leadership for the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors which may include but are not limited to the specific office location role skill set and level of experience. As required by local law Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation based on full-time employment for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
