You will support the incredible impact Red Cross makes on the island while working alongside and learning from professionals in the humanitarian and community development this role you will:Build meaningful connections with the Tiwi valuable insights into diverse cultures and lived with a dedicated team developing skills in teamwork and your knowledge of Tiwi community values and Cross offers comprehensive training ongoing support and access to opportunities within the worlds largest humanitarian network ensuring you are well-prepared to make a impactAs a Tiwi Community Support Volunteer you will play a vital role in strengthening community connection and resilience. By assisting with administrative tasks coordinating events and supporting logistics between Darwin and Tiwi you will help ensure the smooth delivery of essential role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Tiwi community learning from their unique culture and values while collaborating with a passionate team of professionals. Your contributions will directly support impactful programs that foster unity and make a real difference in peoples requirementsFor this role you will be required to undertake a National Police Check which will be organised through Red Cross. The role will also require you to hold or apply for a Working With Children Check or Working With Vulnerable People Check depending on your State/Territory.
