Job Summary
Position
Come join WCF insurance as a Product Intern for an educational hands-on approach to learning about insurance and mitigating risk. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) temporary position that works out of WCFs Sandy Utah headquarters.
Responsibilities
As part of our internship cohort youll collaborate with fellow interns and departments to learn insurance from many different angles. The program includes weekly paid training sessions on insurance terminology and regular opportunities to share experiences and insights with your cohort.
In addition to these learning opportunities your primary responsibilities will include:
- Project management and analytics as related to the product team.
- Working cross-functionally across product teams to help with goals and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Completed Sophomore year of college or more.
Pursuing business management economics engineering math statistics actuarial science or similar degree.
Strong math skills
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
General written and oral communication skills
SQL or Power BI experience preferred but not required
Pay: $20/hour for internship. Increase to pay for apprenticeship.
