The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience in identifying and handling various types of classified and controlled information particularly in the areas of nuclear weapons nuclear material production counterintelligence and weapon Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:* Reviewing and determining the classification level of information pertaining to Restricted Data (RD) Formerly Restricted Data (FRD) Trans classified Foreign Nuclear Information (TFNI) National Security Information (NSI) and Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information (UCNI) in the following technical areas:* Nuclear weapons design and improvise nuclear devices* Nuclear material production and isotope separation technologies* Counterintelligence and nuclear intelligence* Weapon science and inertial confinement fusion* Military utilization of nuclear weapons* Recognizing the potential for other technical areas RD/FRD/TFNI/DOE NSI/UCNI in documents and referring those documents to a Document Reviewer Level 3 or above for a classification determination.* Determining whether information is classified UCNI or other Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).RequirementsEducation:Bachelors degree in engineering or a physical science from an accredited college or Experience Knowledge Skills & Abilities:* Ability to read and understand written English at or above academic grade 15 as demonstrated by a passing score on the Nelson Denny reading assessment or equivalent.* Must qualify as a Derivative Classifier (DC) and UCNI Reviewing Official (UCNI RO) by the end of the contract transition period. For new hires or promotions these qualifications must be met at the time of hire or promotion.* One year or more experience in historical records reviews to identify potential RD FRD TFNI NSI and UCNI in DOE and other agency collections.* After contract transition new or replacement DRL2s must have six months or more experience as a Document Reviewer Level 1.* Strong communication skills both written and oral to convey information clearly and effectively.* Attention to detail and ability to work in a detail-oriented environment.* Proficiency in interpreting and applying classification guidelines regulations and procedures related to RD FRD TFNI NSI and UCNI.* Demonstrated experience in identifying and handling classified and controlled unclassified information.* Ability to recognize potential classified information outside of primary technical areas and refer documents accordingly.* Experience working with historical records and document collections.* Familiarity with various agency classification and information security policies and procedures.* Top-Secret Clearance requiredOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
