Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday
Location: Wrest Park Silsoe (Bedfordshire)

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant youll work closely with class teachers to support students aged 818 with SEMH needs. Youll help deliver a fun functional curriculum tailored to individual learning needs often working one-to-one or in small groups. Our students have experienced trauma and may display challenging behaviours so empathy resilience and a trauma-informed approach are key.

What were looking for:


  • Experience supporting children with SEND/SEMH needs
  • Understanding of behaviour management and trauma-informed practices
  • Inclusive empathetic and solution-focused mindset
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationships
  • Basic knowledge of child development safeguarding and the National Curriculum
  • Confidence in using ICT to support learning
