Responsibilities:
- Reception (Answering and Re-directing of Calls taking messages receiving parcels etc.)
- Greet visitors in a professional manner.
- Maintain a visitor register.
- Arranging quotes from Courier companies (via email and telephone)
- Maintaining a register and filing system for all courier related documents
- Adhoc functions
- Prepare and maintain spread sheets
- Booking of orders.
- Printing labels and waybills.
- Schedule and follow up on collections
Skills and Experience:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Polite telephone manner
- Good knowledge of working with MS excel
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Accountable and proactiveness
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must have good computer knowledge.
- Must be able to work under pressure.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum Matric Certificate
- Min. of 2 years experience in Reception and Administration
- Experience in a Shipping Department or dealing with courier companies would be beneficial
