  • Entegris Yonezawa Plant is seeking a Senior Manager Yonezawa Equipment Engineering to join our team. This role will be responsible for planning future manufacturing capacity expansion with introducing equipment automation replacement of aged equipment maintaining equipment to support stable production and planning and executing SDGs matters to achieve Entegris CSR 2030 goals.

  • Senior Manager Yonezawa Equipment Engineering will report directly to Senior Director Yonezawa Operations and will be located in Yonezawa area.

  • This position will require building strong working relationships across the organization including vendors and developing partnership on a local and global level.

  • This role needs to work to build SAFETY CULTURE in the organization

In this role you will:

  • Maintenance and management of manufacturing equipment; planning and execution of capital investment projects

  • Introducing automation on manufacturing equipment

  • Connecting manufacturing equipment to various systems such as quality tool production control tool.

  • Support to run 7x24 operations as Equipment Engineering

  • Compliance with relevant laws and regulations

  • Negotiation and contract management with external vendors

  • Health and safety management and support for Business Continuity Planning (BCP)

  • Responding to external audits (ISO 45001 RBA)

  • Promoting sustainability initiatives such as reducing energy related cost

  • Developing the next generation of talent

  • Ability to act with integrity while adhering to the code of business conduct

  • BS/MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

  • Minimum of 10 years of management experience in the manufacturing industry

  • Extensive knowledge and experience on introducing automation to manufacturing equipment data connection between equipment and various system.

  • Experience in the semiconductor or pharmaceutical industry is a plus

  • Experience in leading a department or serving as a project leader

  • Experience in managing manufacturing operations is a plus

  • Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC score of 700 or equivalent practical experience)

  • Ability to communicate effectively with overseas sites via email and web meetings

  • Experience in delivering presentations in English or willingness to do so without hesitation

  • Experience in responding to external audits (ISO 45001); RBA experience is a plus

  • Strong problem-solving mindset focused on solutions rather than issues

  • Ability to embrace change adapt flexibly and enjoy transformation
