Hours of work will be depending on operational dutiesInstructing aquatic programs and performing lifeguard services; enforcing pool facility policies procedures rules and records pertaining to lesson plans and report cards; ensuring the pool deck area is safe for all users and that emergency first aid equipment is in its the deck pool equipment and change rooms; installing buoy lines and other equipment as equipment is available when lifeguarding; participating in staff duties as secondary school educationCurrent Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard (Pool option)Current Lifesaving Swim InstructorsCurrent Standard First Aid / CPR C or equivalent from an accredited organizationMinimum of fifteen (15) years of ageLifesaving Society Instructor is considered an Society Examiner at Bronze Cross level or higher is considered an Emergency First Aid Instructor is considered an of Aquatic provincial legislation and health and safety Range: $20.18 to $23.61 Band 2 on the Towns 2026 Pay GridPlease note:In-water assessments will be a requirement for this candidates will be required to complete a background check including either a vulnerable sector check or a criminal record and judicial matters check as permitted under Ontarios Police Record Checks Reform Act and in accordance with the duties of the candidates are invited to apply no later than 12 p.m. on January 30 2026.
