The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.
This is a full time fixed term position that can be based in our Melbourne or Sydney office locations.
As Ahpras Senior Automation Engineer you will be a technical authority driving enterprise-wide test automation standards and practices. Reporting to the Program Test Lead you will design and evolve robust automation frameworks that underpin delivery efficiency system reliability and long-term maintainability.
This role is pivotal in embedding automation into our delivery pipelines uplifting capability across teams and introducing innovative practices including AI-enabled automation to keep Ahpra at the forefront of quality assurance. You will work closely with testers developers architects and vendors to ensure automation aligns with organisational objectives and supports sustainable digital outcomes.

You will be a seasoned automation specialist with a passion for building scalable maintainable frameworks that deliver real business value. You thrive in partnering with teams providing technical leadership and influencing enterprise standards while remaining hands-on with cutting-edge tools and practices. Your ability to interpret complex requirements communicate effectively and foster collaboration sets you apart. Ideally you bring experience in automating Salesforce environments and are comfortable working in agile DevOps-driven settings.
