DescriptionJob Summary:
As a Sales Coordinator you will be responsible for finding sales leads and working in direct cooperation with a specified sales representative. You will also provide occasional clerical support when necessary.
Essential Functions:
- Research a given state or region using available methods of information including but not limited to the internet phone books reference books and lists as well as direct phone conversations.
- Once a prospect is determined make direct phone contact with the organization to build their interest in receiving information about doing a Donning book/fundraising project.
- Gather printed collateral and supporting material as well as a sample book and send the book and accompanying information to the prospect as a potential lead.
- Keep accurate and organized records of all communication with Project Directors and potential leads including dates times conversation notes samples sent and regional information.
- Support your specified Project Director with supplies collateral and samples. Also coordinate your research efforts with the travel plans of your Project Director.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
- Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to interface with a variety of individuals or groups on a frequent basis.
- Ability to learn computer applications as necessary for the position.
- Ability to read interpret and follow verbal and written instructions work procedures and other related materials.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong customer service skills.
- Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
