Job Description:
The Senior Tax Manager Income Tax Compliance is responsible for managing and overseeing the preparation review and timely filing of U.S. federal state & local income tax returns for Dentsu US entities. This role ensures compliance with US federal and applicable state income tax laws and regulations. 10% of responsibilities is expected to be working closely with Tax Director in tax planning and special projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee prepare and/or review approximately 250 federal state and local income tax returns plus extensions estimates and other income tax-related filings. Timely and accurate filings are a must.
- Review work prepared by in-house offshore US tax team for accuracy and completeness.
- Handle correspondence with tax authorities and manage audits notices and inquiries
- Research tax issues and provide practical solutions and recommendations.
- Train mentor and evaluate offshore US tax team (3 members)
- Improve tax processes and recommend best practices for implementation for efficiency and accuracy
- Leverage external advisors efficiently to ensure accuracy of Dentsu tax returns. Responsible for Dentsu tax compliance budget.
- Assist Tax Director in ad-hoc tax planning and special projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of seven years of experience in corporation income tax return preparation and review
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational & analytical skills
- Experience with tax research and compliance related software and accounting/ERP systems
Preferred Skills
- Experience in public accounting or tax advisory services
- Experience in large multinational corporate tax department
- CPA EA or equivalent professional certification preferred
- Working knowledge with OneSource compliance software highly desired.
- Client service mindset with a proactive approach

The anticipated salary range for this position is ($114425-$190900). Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience knowledge skills and other factors permitted by law.A range of medical dental vision 401(k) matching paid time off and/or other benefits also are available.
