About the role
Whats in it for you
You will be a member of a team using state of the art tools and technologies to design develop and deliver a performant scalable system that processes network addition to design and development of the core system you will participate in the development of all related automated test infrastructure and CI/CD integration. Your contributions to this effort will be used by Fortune and Global 500 enterprise customers on a daily basis.
What you will be doing
- Designing developing and supporting high performance and scalable cloud systems and services.
- Coordinating with other service development teams product management and support teams to ensure scalability supportability and availability for owned services and dependent services.
- Working to resolve customer issues in a timely manner to improve issue resolution response time and customer satisfaction.
- Evaluating open source technologies to find the best fit for our needs and contributing ideas to the open source community
Required skills and experience
- 8 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience with Data packet/flow based forwarding Firewalls and tunneling protocols
- Experience with one or more of VPP OFP Quagga. OVS experience is a plus.
- Experience building cloud products IAAS PAAS SaaS
- Knowledge of Network and Application firewalls like NAT IPsec IPS
- Knowledge of virtualization NFVs VMs Containers Kubernetes is a plus
- Knowledge of CI/CD Jenkins or Spinnaker
- Good C and Linux programming skills including data structure auto-scaling and performance
- Experience programming with Python
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education
- BSCS or equivalent required MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred

Compensation:
At Netskope salary is one component of our competitive total rewards package. The salary range for this position is as listed below. This is a national range. For purposes of complying with applicable laws the range applies to candidates in California Colorado Illinois Maryland New York Washington and other states.
The successful candidates starting pay will also be determined based on job-related skills experience qualifications location and market conditions.
For all sales roles the posted salary range is the On Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role which is the sum of base salary and target commission amount at 100% goal achievement.
In addition to salary candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus plan (for non-sales roles) and a stock award program. Candidates may also be eligible for a comprehensive health plan and other benefits that can be reviewed atNetskope Benefits site.
