This on-site role will focus on designing developing and maintaining solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform for the Army Materiel Command (AMC). The ideal candidate will have strong experience across the Power Platform suite including Power Apps Power Automate Power BI and Power Virtual Agents. This position requires on-site presence in Huntsville Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:The Power Platform Developer will be responsible for the full development lifecycle of solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Solution Development:Design build and customize Canvas and Model driven Power AppsCreate and optimize Power Automate flows to automate business processesDevelop Power BI dashboards and reports for analytics and visualizationBuild and maintain Dataverse data models relationships and business rulesDevelop and deploy Dataverse plug ins to extend business logic and enforce custom rulesUtilize the Power Platform CLI (PAC CLI) for solution management environment administration and ALM practicesDesign and configure Power Pages to deliver secure user-friendly external portals integrated with Dataverse and other data sourcesIntegration & Data Management:Connect Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services (Teams SharePoint Online Dynamics 365)Integrate with SQL Server REST APIs and external data sourcesSupport data migration and ensure efficient data structures for scalabilityGovernance & Security:Implement security roles permissions and data governance best practicesEnsure compliance with organizational and federal security standardsApply ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) practices for Power Platform solutionsSupport & Collaboration:Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Power Platform applicationsCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutionsProvide training and documentation for end users and program teamsParticipate in code reviews and solution architecture discussionsContinuous Improvement:Stay current with Power Platform updates new features and best practicesContribute to performance optimization and user experience enhancementsSupport adoption of SDLC principles and agile methodologies within the teamEducation and Experience:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience4 years of experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power PlatformDemonstrated experience with Power Apps (both Canvas and Model-driven)Experience creating workflows with Power AutomateBackground in developing reports and dashboards with Power BIKnowledge of Power Virtual Agents chatbot developmentCertifications (preferred not required):Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL 400)Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ 204)Microsoft Certified: Teams Application Developer Associate (MS 600)Required Skills and Competencies:Microsoft Power Platform certificationsExperience working in Army or DoD environmentsKnowledge of federal security requirements and complianceExperience with Azure services integrationBackground in SharePoint development or administrationProficiency in developing Canvas Apps with advanced formulas and functionsExperience creating Model-driven Apps with DataverseStrong knowledge of Power Automate flow development and automationAbility to design and implement Power BI reports and dashboardsExperience developing Power Virtual Agents chatbotsKnowledge of Dataverse data modeling and relationship designUnderstanding of solution architecture principles for Power PlatformExperience witgh integrating Power Platform with other Microsoft 365 servicesAbility to connect to and work with various data sourcesKnowledge of REST APIs and web service integrationUnderstanding of security and data governance in Power PlatformExperience with application lifecycle management for Power Platform solutionsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail and qualityAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutionsGood communication skills both written and verbalExperience creating technical documentationAbility to work effectively in collaborative environmentsUnderstanding of user experience (UX) design principlesWillingness to work on-site in Huntsville AlabamaClearance Requirement:Secret security ClearanceOther Responsibilities:Perform other duties as assignedOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
