Job Summary
Summary:
The successful candidate is responsible for driving financial discipline and operational efficiency at the plant. The person will be responsible for accurate cost tracking reporting and compliance to support smooth plant operations. The role is hands-on focusing on daily financial controls variance analysis and providing timely support to the plant team for efficient decision-making
Job Descriptions:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
o
Help in develop and manage the plants AOP and rolling forecast.
o
Analyse variances to budget forecast and previous years identifying opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
o
Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for plant management and corporate finance.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
o
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
o
Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards regulations and company policies.
o
General Ledger reconciliation Identification SL-GL gaps and ensuring the closure of open points within stated timeline
Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Management:
o
Support the plants capital expenditure projects from initial planning and budgeting to implementation and post-implementation review.
o
Ensure compliance with company capital expenditure policies and procedures.
Inventory Management:
o
Collaborate with plant operations to optimize inventory control processes.
o
Analyse the Usage Price and Mix Inventory variances against budget and forecast
Internal Controls:
o
Maintain and strengthen the plants internal control environment ensuring compliance with relevant controls.
o
Support internal and external audits providing necessary documentation and information
o
Maintain and improve the plants financial systems and processes. Collaborate with IT to ensure the effective use of financial software and systems
