But above all were guided by people their stories their strengths and their you join the DI youre joining a team built on respect collaboration and OpportunityPosition Title: Manager Learning & Talent DevelopmentReports To: Director People & CultureEmployment Type: Full-time PermanentSchedule: 5 days on/2 days off Monday to FridayLocation: 1 Dermot Baldwin Way SE Calgary AlbertaAbout the DepartmentThe Learning & Development team fosters a culture of learning by championing training programs that enhance employee skills leadership capabilities and organizational effectiveness by delivering innovative solutions to meet diverse needs from frontline training to leadership Youll DoEvery role at the DI makes a this position you will:Drive program success through the creation and implementation of an innovative learning and talent development strategy in collaboration with the Director of People & excellence through the continuous evolution of the learning journey from progressive curriculum design to engaging content creation and impactful learning by leading compelling training sessions from essential core programs to engaging new-hire onboarding and empower team and subject matter experts to deliver exceptional learning programs by providing clarity confidence and LMS to create a seamless learning ecosystem integrating content course setup and user support for superior with the Director of People & Culture to drive forward a DE&I strategy that shapes an inclusive learning & development projects forward with precision ensuring strategic alignment on-time delivery and ensuring effective a leader youll cultivate a thriving learning culture by delivering programs that spark curiosity and build confidence providing experiences that You BringWe know that great people come from all kinds of backgrounds. If youre passionate about helping others and share our values we want to hear from -HavesFive (5) years experience in facilitating designing developing and executing learner-centric solutions that meet the needs of learners as well as organizational understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methods (ADDIE Kirkpatrick etc.)Advanced proficiency with MS office Suite LMS platforms and e-learning tools (Articulate Storyline Rise or equivalent).Strong facilitation experience and presentation skills demonstrated by an ability to deliver subject matter to a diverse to provide a satisfactory vulnerable sector clearance communication skills (interpersonal written and verbal with a focus on plain language).Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple to HavesBachelors degree in a field such as Education Human Resources Instructional Design Business or related field is preferred. A CTDP CPHR designation or a change management certificate Experience leading a teamExperience with First Aid NVCI Trauma Informed Care Naloxone or other safety/wellness at the DIWorking at the Calgary Drop-In Centre (the DI) means being part of meaningful human-centered work that can sometimes involve complex and emotionally charged situations.
