DescriptionThe Sr Materials Analyst will be responsible to enhance data driven decision-making by focusing on inventory analysis and root-cause evaluation of KPI addition the analyst will provide actionable insights to identify improvement opportunities across Inventory Excess and Obsolete (E&O) and product End-of-Life (EOL) ultimately driving supply chain efficiency and cost optimization
JOB DUTIES:
- Partner with IT Analytics team to enhance Global inventory reports allowing for easy understanding of the current inventory position and how it compares to the forecast
- Develop standardized reports for daily/weekly/monthly identification of products that need attention either for excess on hand inventory or products with delivery risk because of low inventory levels
- Enhance Global inventory reports to show historical trends and use data as an indicator of opportunity
- Partner with Global Inventory Manager Finance Factory inventory champions and Supply Planning business partners to provide data to develop monthly inventory forecasts for raw material WIP in transit and finished goods
- Perform monthly inventory analytics of prior inventory results with root cause analysis on deltas to the forecast
- Participate in the MEIO safety stock planning process
- Analyze Lead-time and MOQ reduction opportunities
- Position will be leveraged to provide analytics and insights into ISC KPIs
- Providing information to support various ISC projects and data requests
MUST HAVE:
- 5 years of data analytics experience in supply chain inventory planning purchasing or sourcing within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work with large data sets while ensuring data integrity and advanced proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau or similar) to transform complex data into clear actionable insights for strategic and operational decisions.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to provide complete and accurate information identify gaps in data sets and recommend corrective actions.
- Experience with ERP systems and developing supply chain analytics; preferred ERP: SAP but experience with Oracle o9 Solutions Kinaxis or Blue Yonder is also valuable.
- Proficient in English (bilingual or full conversational level) for effective communication across global teams.
