Tax Compliance Manager

About the Role

Tax regulations today are increasingly complex and fast-evolving. As the lead for the CTax team you will support clients in navigating growing and sophisticated tax compliance and reporting response to the rapidly changing tax environment we are undergoing a transformation and are seeking a Manager / Senior Manager to spearhead our CTax function and drive this next phase of growth.

The Opportunity

As part of a diverse and global team you will build deep technical expertise across the full tax lifecycle while gaining broad exposure to multiple industries. You will be supported in developing both technical and leadership capabilities enabling you to grow as a trusted tax professional and people leader.

You will work within high-performing teams delivering outstanding client service from managing tax compliance obligations to enhancing business processes while contributing to the evolution of our tax services. As a leader you will guide and inspire the CTax team to deliver corporate income tax and indirect tax engagements efficiently and to a high standard across a wide range of organisations. You will also play a key role in developing the teams technical capabilities ensuring high-quality deliverables within a streamlined and effective framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage global compliance processes and tools alongside local tax and accounting expertise to help clients manage and gain transparency over their domestic compliance and reporting obligations across selected industries.
  

• Ensure all client deliverables meet high quality and professional standards.
  

• Proactively identify potential risks escalate issues when necessary and support timely resolution.
  

• Foster a positive learning environment by coaching and mentoring junior team members supporting their professional and personal development.
  

• Participate in client engagements and assist in managing engagement economics including resource planning fee tracking and issue escalation.
  

• Contribute to CTax growth initiatives and build strong internal networks within the tax compliance team and across other service lines.

Requirements

Required

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  

• 68 years of relevant experience in tax compliance or related roles.
  

Preferred

• Professional qualification in Tax.
  

• Exposure to bookkeeping and payroll functions.
