About the Role

As a Software Engineer II SW you will contribute to the design and development of new softwareranging from prototyping and writing functional code to testing and implementation. This role will leverage your knowledge of programming languages. You will collaborate with the team to support various stages of the software development life this role you will report to the Engineering Manager.

What You Will Do

• Design Develop and maintain middleware solutions.
• Develop & Integrate System software with middleware and applications.
• Develop high-quality and production ready software.
• Independently execute module ownership.

What You Need to Be Successful

• A thorough understanding of Android architecture middleware framework and communication protocols.
• 3 years of experience with C Java.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Linux.
• Well-versed in product development.
• Good Knowledge of IPC and RPC mechanisms available in Linux.
• Should have exposure to UMLSysML should be able to understand UMLSysML diagrams and contribute to UMLSysML based designs.
• Experience with Linux is a Must. Exposure to QNX Integrity and Android will be added advantage.
• Exposure to internet protocols like TCP and UDP.
• Should be able to drive the design and architecture discussions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Should be able to work independently contribute to requirements reviews analysis of customer change requests.
• Should have fair exposure into analyzing and debugging existing software or designing and building new ones.

What Makes You Eligible

• Engineering background with 3-5 years of experience in C.
• 3 years of experience in Automotive and IVI systems.
• Expertise in C C11. C14 fluent in concepts of Design Patterns.
• Expertise in Linux system programming.
