Job Summary

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

1 Provide L2 support for on-premises and cloud infrastructure (OCI GCP Azure AWS).

2 Manage servers storage systems (NAS/SAN) virtualization platforms (VMware Hyper-V HCI/Cisco HX).

3 Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure performance capacity and availability.

4 Assist in deployment configuration and management of hybrid cloud workloads.

5 Support cloud integration with on-premises systems and ensure connectivity security and compliance.

6 Monitor cloud resource usage optimize performance and resolve incidents in coordination with L3/cloud teams.

7 Respond to L2 incidents and service requests as per SLA.

8 Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and escalate L3/SME support where needed.

9 Maintain incident logs and resolution documentation.

10 Support networking components (LAN/WAN switches firewalls VPNs) relevant to hybrid infrastructure.

11 Assist with IP addressing routing and connectivity issues for on-prem and cloud systems.

12 Implement configuration changes and follow change management procedures.

13 Monitor and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.

14 Ensure storage availability performance and integrity across SAN/NAS and cloud environments.

15 Perform patch management system updates and software installations.

16 Assist in capacity planning and infrastructure optimization activities.

17 Maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations inventories and operational procedures.

18 Work closely with L3 engineers cloud specialists and vendors for escalations and issue resolution.

19 Provide timely updates to NOC IT operations or project teams.

20 Support deployment migration and upgrade activities in hybrid environments.

21 Ensure security standards are maintained for both on-premises and cloud systems.

22 Assist in compliance audits and implement recommended actions.

23 Follow organizational policies for access change management and incident reporting.

Requirements

Skills:

1 Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud platforms (OCI GCP Azure AWS).

2 Knowledge of virtualization technologies: VMware Hyper-V HCI/Cisco HX.

3 Strong understanding of networking concepts storage (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions.

4 Problem-solving skills and ability to handle escalations efficiently.

5 Good documentation reporting and collaboration skills.
