Essential Functions:
- Useengineering drawingselectrical schematics and all otherrelativedocumentsto assemble HVAC units/sub-assemblies.
- Ability to use an assortment of hand/power tools.
- Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
- Reporting of defective equipment to Supervisor.
- Install and wirelow voltage electrical components.
Safety Responsibilities:
- Gain knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation as well as plant safety rules to perform duties safely and in compliance with allKCCrules and regulations.
- Participate intoolbox talks & monthly training.
- Take every reasonable precaution for the protection ofyourcoworkers.
- Take immediate action to address unsafe acts or conditions and report issues tomanagement.
- Assistinaccident investigations(as needed)toidentifythe root causein a timely manner.
- Complete accident and incident reports(nearmiss)in a timely manner.

Supervisory Responsibility:

Environment:

This is a part time Co-op position
Education & Experience:
- Gaining experience towards the HVAC/Electrical field

Safety/Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Requires bending stooping and standing.
- Must be able to stand from six (6) to eight (8) hours per day.(Overtime may extendtimeperiod).
- Good visual and spatial perception
- Follow established safety policies including but not limited to mobile equipment PPE emergency response HAZCOM first-aid response etc.
