Job Summary (Respiratory Therapist Nights 36 hours/week): - Work Schedule: Nights 36 hours per week (Sunday Tuesday 6:00 pm 6:30 am) with a 4th night rotation every other week; includes some call weekends and holidays.
- Education/Experience:
- Graduate of accredited college or technical school.
- Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Minimum two years of experience required.
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Active Respiratory Therapist license (Colorado).
- Current BLS ACLS PALS and NRP required.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and collect diagnostic information (pulmonary function testing Pad Net sleep studies blood gas and other lab analysis).
- Assess patients using physical exams and diagnostic data interpretation.
- Provide respiratory therapies including medical gas humidity aerosol therapy airway insertion/management airway clearance and mechanical ventilation (invasive/non-invasive).
- Monitor and evaluate patient response to therapies.
- Participate in discharge planning and case management.
- Engage in public education promoting cardiopulmonary wellness.
- Attend mandatory safety in-services departmental meetings and manager-selected training.
- Specialty: Cardiopulmonary/Respiratory Therapy.
- Must be available for nights rotating shifts weekends and holidays.
