Job Summary
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced BIM Specialist / BIM Modeler with an MEP background .This role supports commercial and industrial construction projects and works closely with internal project teams to ensure accurate coordinated BIM deliverables before work reaches the field.
This is an in-office position based in Magnolia TX serving projects throughout the Greater Houston area.
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in Revit AutoCAD and Navisworks
Background in one or more MEP trades (mechanical electrical or plumbing)
Strong understanding of BIM coordination and model accuracy
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Experience collaborating with project managers engineers and field teams
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Mechanical duct detailing experience
Familiarity with AutoCAD Fabrication and fabrication database management
Knowledge of pre-fabrication workflows
Experience supporting fabrication-ready or coordinated shop drawings
Key Responsibilities
Develop modify and maintain BIM models for MEP systems
Perform coordination and clash detection using Navisworks
Support QA/QC of BIM deliverables prior to field deployment
Assist with fabrication-ready drawings when applicable
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve coordination issues efficiently
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range of $75000 $90000 dependent on experience and skill set
Compensation may exceed this range for candidates with strong mechanical detailing fabrication or prefabrication experience
