Responsibilities include but not limited to performing hands-on instrument checks calibrations and PLC Logic programming along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.
Wage:$36-45hr DOE

Responsibilities- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and always acting in a safe manner
- Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions
- Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations
- Maintains accurate records and logs as required
- Installs new system controls (including power wiring)
- Installs cabling power distribution systems and motor control centers
- Services and replaces motors and lighting
- Exposure to multi-disciplinary maintenance tasks preferred
- Familiar with electrical work in a classified/hazardous areas
- Other duties as assigned
QualificationsWhat does it take to work for Clean Harbors
- HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6 years electrical experience preferred
- 3 years of instrumentation preferred
- Experience with NEC Class 1 Division 2classified areas preferred
- Journeyman Electrician License NCCER Industrial Electrician or Military Equivalent preferred
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) troubleshooting and programming experience preferred
- Experience reading blueprints schematics and P&IDs
- Knowledge of Data Control Systems (DCS)
- Experience with 480v and below
- Must be willing to jump in and assist maintenance and other teams when needed
- Exposure to multi-disciplinary maintenance tasks preferred
- Mechanically inclined is an asset
- Lift up 50lb climbing ladders stooping bending standing for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
