Job Description
The Head Spa Cosmetologist is responsible for delivering elevated head spa and scalp therapy services that promote scalp health relaxation and overall well-being. This role blends advanced cosmetology techniques with a luxury spa experience providing guests with a deeply restorative ritual focused on scalp care hair wellness and stress relief.
Responsibilities
- Perform head spa and scalp services in accordance with established protocols and brand standards
- Conduct thorough guest consultations to assess scalp and hair health and customize treatments accordingly
- Utilize professional-grade products water-based scalp equipment and massage techniques to enhance relaxation and therapeutic benefits
- Educate guests on scalp health hair care routines and recommended retail products
- Maintain a clean sanitized and guest-ready treatment room before and after each service
- Ensure proper use care and sanitation of all head spa equipment and tools
- Uphold spa policies related to guest safety hygiene and service excellence
- Support a calm welcoming and luxurious spa environment
- Communicate guest feedback service notes and any concerns to spa leadership
- Adhere to all state board regulations and licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Current license(s) and certificate(s) for Cosmetology as required by the state county city/town.
- 2 years of experience in the cosmetogoly industry
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of principles and processes for meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Superior attention to detail
- Creative mindset and artistic personality
- Customer oriented with a proactive and positive attitude
- Deep understanding of health and safety rules
