Systems Integrator

Job Description:

Coordinate the design development and integration of new showering products that meet luxury trade and retail consumer needs. Execute new showering products by leading components and modules through design first article engineering builds pilot runs and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). Collaborate daily with overseas teams including engineering vendor design and vendor manufacturing teams. Maintain a working knowledge of the competitive patent and product space for showering products. Manage product and system requirements specifications and flow down to define requirements for modules or components. Lead technical team resources design requirements development and design risk assessment throughout project execution using company design standards/specs (DS) Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodologies and New Product Development (NPD) launch stage gate processes. Establish and validate system level product requirements using test plans simulation and prototyping techniques. Lead technical issue resolution teams identifying and implementing root cause outside of NPD projects. Scope handle and approve technical tradeoffs to deliver requirements for production integration from concept to launch. Collaborate with Product Marketing Architecture Compliance & Subsystem teams during development of new products.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Technology or a closely related field. Five (5) years of progressive product engineering experience as a technical leader specializing in showering products. Other experience and skills must include:

  • Serving as a product engineering practitioner with experience in engineering tools techniques and standard methodologies for showering products.
  • Rapid prototyping and manufacturing processes including injection molding die casting stamping finishing and assembly.
  • Design for manufacturability cost estimation Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Systems Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) PPAP and design verification and validation.
  • Ability to lead multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Experience with engineering CAD software including Creo.
  • Leveraging simulation outputs including FEA and CFD to drive project efficiency.

Fluency in Mandarin Chinese to work with Asian suppliers required. 10% domestic and international travel required. May work remotely three (3) days per week. Must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
