We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Intensive In-Home Qualified Professional to join our team full-time. This role is essential to our mission providing therapy crisis support and service coordination for mental health clients in a variety of settings. As a Intensive in-Home Qualified Professional with Carolina Outreach you will provide community-based/in-home individual and family therapy for children youth adolescents adults and their families.

Our comprehensive range of services include school-based therapy outpatient treatment psychiatric evaluations community support and substance use services.

Position Description:

  • Serve as a member of the clients clinical treatment team and create develop monitor revise and implement the clients Person-Centered Plan.
  • Participate in the development of crisis plans and transition plans when clients move in and out of services.
  • Provide individual and family focused support to clients and their families/natural supports based on their needs diagnoses and best evidence-based practices.
  • Provide any written documentation as required. This will include treatment notes goals and plans for the medical record (e.g. Service notes person-centered plan etc.)

Direct Services

  • Work to implement therapeutic interventions crisis interventions behavioral interventions psycho-educational activities and other best evidence-based practice therapies.
  • Work with clients families natural supports and collateral agencies in reviewing applying and achieving goals as indicated in the Person-Centered Plan.
  • Contribute to and participate in child and family team meetings.

Location: Fayetteville NC

Compensation: This position is compensated using a piece rate model where pay is based on the Relative Value Units (RVUs) assigned to each billable service. Each clinical service (e.g. individual therapy group therapy assessments) is assigned a specific RVU value and your total compensation is determined by the number and type of services you deliver.

Piece Rate: $35 - $36.50

The ranges above are estimates based on productivity. Under this compensation model there is unlimited earning potential!

*Final compensation is determined by factors such as education licensure level experience and other qualifications.

This position is:

  • Onsite. The work is performed on-site or at a designated assignment location.
  • This is considered Light Work; no lifting over 20 pounds.

Direct Services

  • Work to implement therapeutic interventions crisis interventions behavioral interventions psycho-educational activities and other best evidence-based practice therapies.
  • Work with clients families natural supports and collateral agencies in reviewing applying and achieving goals as indicated in the Person-Centered Plan.
  • Contribute to and participate in child and family team meetings.
  • Provide parent/guardian/natural support training that will aid persons interacting with the client in dealing more effectively with the client.
  • Assist in all service delivery as formally planned with the clinical team.


Qualifications

Minimum Education Training and Experience

  • At a minimum a Bachelors Degree in social work or psychology and 2 years experience in the behavioral health field.
  • An employee must become NVCI certified; receive training in population served and client rights/confidentiality. Employees will be required to complete training in the evidenced based family therapy model selected by agency as well as crisis response training as responding to family crises is an expectation of the role.
  • A valid drivers license and current automobile insurance is also required. An employee must demonstrate having the core skills to deliver appropriate services prior to service provision and be able to initiate tasks and work independently as a member of the clinical team. Employees must complete all agency and state-mandated trainings within required timeframes.
