Job Description

The Assistant Broker supports brokers in servicing clients preparing insurance submissions managing policy documentation and coordinating with insurers. This role is detail-oriented and client-focused ensuring policies are accurately placed renewed and maintained while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Support brokers with day-to-day account management for new and existing clients

Prepare insurance submissions quotations endorsements renewals and policy documents

Liaise with insurance carriers underwriters and clients to obtain information and resolve issues

Review policies and endorsements for accuracy and compliance

Maintain client files and update broker management systems and CRM records

Assist with invoicing premium tracking and documentation follow-ups

Respond to client inquiries and route complex issues to the broker as needed

Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and internal procedures

Provide general administrative and operational support to the brokerage team

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in business or insurance preferred)

13 years of experience in insurance financial services or an administrative support role

Basic understanding of insurance products and terminology (personal or commercial lines)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook); experience with broker management systems a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $0 - $0. This range reflects Acrisures good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to skills experience qualifications location and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration team leadership and cross-functional partnership.
