Using a child-centred therapeutically informed approach YPP helps young parents build independence and confidence. Operated by the Australian Red Cross from its Randwick office the program offers therapeutic case management parenting classes education life skills training and child development opportunityAs a Community Gardener Volunteer you will:Help maintain a veggie patch and green space by watering weeding and general upkeepSupport the creation of a peaceful and inviting outdoor area for young parents and childrenAssist with tidying and small improvements to keep the garden welcomingBe part of a community dedicated to creating a supportive environmentThe impactYour work will help create a beautiful and functional space for young parents and children to enjoy. By volunteering you will contribute to their wellbeing encourage social connection and promote a welcoming community requirementsFor this role you will be required to undertake a National Police Check which will be organised through Red will need to provide a recent copy of your CV and provide details for two professional role will also require you to hold or apply for a Working With Children Check or Working With Vulnerable People Check depending on your State/Territory.
