TheSeniorProject Manager (Medical Planner)must be adept at navigating ambiguity managing competing priorities and leading collaborative teams toward shared goals. In this roletheSenior Project Managerwillcreate code-compliant test fitssupport the development of planning standards mentor junior project managers and help evolve the processes that support our rapidly growing health system.This person will navigatecomplexity with clarity interpret both architectural drawings and clinical workflows and bringa high levelof professionalism and organization to fast-moving projects.This personalsounderstandshow to communicate with leadership bring forward data-informed recommendations and develop presentations that support key governance decisions.
This role will be hybridminimum 2 days a week.Regardlessthe expectation will be for this role to be able to be on-site any day of the week as needed duringregularwork hours.
Key Responsibilities:

Must have skills:
Degree inArchitecture or related field
Strong knowledge of regulatoryand code requirements construction methods and materials
A strong portfolio of built workdemonstrating experienceand capabilities
Strong visual communication skills including PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences
Experience collaborating with stakeholders and interpreting operational needs intodesignsolutions
Experience of leadingand mentoring in-house team members
Skilled in navigating multi-disciplinary teams including engineers contractors and hospital staff
Excellent and succinct verbal and written communication skills
Proficientin AutoCAD Revit and other relevant drafting/design software
Proficient inBluebeamand MicrosoftOfficeSuite
Nice to have skills:
12 years of relevant experience particularly with healthcare projects
California architectural licensure preferred

A Brief Overview
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing the programming planning and activation of complex projects under the general supervision of the Director. Ensures the completion of projects are in scope on schedule within budget and meets all program objectives and appropriate government regulations. Acts as a liaison between the client/operational leaders and all other project participants including consultants contractors vendors and all regulatory agencies. Responsible for foundational planning scheduling delegation and oversight of the work pertaining to the project resources and assigned project managers and project coordinators.
The senior project manager utilizing high-level communication skills acting as the liaison between the project team contractors customers key stakeholders and senior leadership. The senior project manager has ultimate responsibility for the overall project delivery.
The senior project manager will be the primary owner and communicator regarding the assigned projects. This position is responsible for managing key strategic organizational projects. This includes the establishing of the project governance communication requirements project monitoring & control defining project objectives; identifying assessing & managing risks and escalations and aligning leadership support. Will be required to use the existing standard work/processes and tools as part of the assessment and implementation processes.
This is a leadership role which is responsible for directing and managing work assignment schedules and operational needs of the project coordinators and managers in the design development and execution of the projects.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $66.52 - $88.14 per hourThe salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity experience education specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
