Job Summary
Koniag Technology Solutions a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a Top-Secret clearance to support KTS and our government customer in Quantico VA. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. Essential Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Act as a consultant in the establishment of design standards and criteria for construction projects. Provide expert mechanical engineering comments based on these the mechanical system layout in the specialized room such as the data closet and the communications and interpret cooling load calculationsRead ductwork layoutsUnderstand ducted and plenum return air systems including Z-ducts and U-ducts in the different mechanical the advantages and disadvantages of each the watts per square foot ratio for various drawings and ensure compliance with local and review sequence of operations for various HVAC various 24/7 mechanical systems and determine which system complies with the in commissioning of mechanical systems at the end of each life-cycle analysis of various HVAC with teams to develop cost estimates for various HVAC a scope of work for HVAC air and water balance reports (TAB).Perform construction administration duties such as reviewing RFIs field reports and in quality control and quality assurance during Experience Knowledge Skills & Abilities:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering10 years of experience in the design of building electrical systemsProficiency in AutoCAD and/or RevitTop Secret security clearanceOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
