Position Summary
The DAANES & Funding Coordinator ensures accurate DAANES reporting insurance verification and funding coordination for all clients across multiple locations. This role supports compliance with state reporting requirements manages authorizations and serves as a liaison between internal teams counties and insurance providers. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in EMR systems are essential.
*1 day/week Onsite in Minneapolis*
Time Allocation:
- 75% DAANES Responsibilities Focused on DAANES reporting data accuracy and compliance.
- 25% Funding Coordination Responsibilities Supporting funding processes insurance verification and coordination with counties and payers.
-Allocation subject to change depending on workload requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
DAANES (75%):
- Enter and verify client assessment admission and discharge data in DAANES and EMR systems (Credible).
- Monitor DAANES accuracy and resolve errors impacting insurance claims.
- Act as primary contact for DAANES-related inquiries and state reporting compliance.
- Communicate with clinicians to obtain missing documentation and ensure timely completion of client records.
Funding Coordination (25%):
- Perform monthly MNITS insurance eligibility checks and update client records.
- Process and track insurance authorizations; communicate remaining units to clinical teams.
- Complete IMD paperwork for MA-funded residential clients and upload to EMR.
- Collaborate with counties on client living arrangements and JJ exclusions.
- Assist with billing corrections and support revenue cycle processes.
- Communicate with billing specialists and provide support as needed.
General Duties:
- Maintain documentation accuracy and respond to EMR tasks promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred.
- 2 years experience in healthcare or business office setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
- Ability to self-organize tasks follow through with project completion and effectively utilize multi-tab spreadsheets as an organizational tool.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Ability to model a lifestyle that is in compliance with Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenges Code of Conduct.
Target Compensation:
$19.00-$20.00/hour
