PurposeoftheSenior Asset Manager:
The Senior Asset Manager will oversee the operational and financial performance of a portfolio of renewable energy assets including wind solar and other renewable technologies. This role involves maximising asset value through strategic management performance optimisation risk mitigation and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in asset management within the renewable energy sector.
DutiesandResponsibilities:
Asset Performance Management:
- Monitor and analyse the operational performance of renewable energy assets.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise asset performance and efficiency.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensureoptimaloperation and maintenance.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage asset budgets forecasts and financial reports.
- Analyse financial performance and develop strategies to enhance revenue and control costs.
- Monitor cash flows and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
Contract and Stakeholder Management:
- Oversee contracts with key stakeholders including operations and maintenance (O&M) contracts and service agreements.
- Negotiate contract terms and manage relationships with vendors contractors and other partners.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and resolve any disputes or issues that arise.
Risk Management:
- Identifyand assess risks associated with the asset portfolio including operational financial and regulatory risks.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard asset value.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations standards and industry best practices.
Reporting and Communication:
- Review and deliver detailed performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate asset performance financial status and key issues to senior management and investors.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of asset management professionals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement accountability and high performance.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
Technology and Innovation:
- Stay abreast of advancements in renewable energy technologies and asset management practices.
- Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance asset performance and management processes.
- Drive innovation and efficiency in asset management operations.
Regulatory and Compliance:
- Ensure all assetscomply withrelevant regulations permits and industry standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and changesimpactingthe renewable energy sector.

QualificationsSkillsandexperience:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in engineering Business Administration Finance Renewable Energy or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in asset management with at least 3 years in the renewable energy sector.
- Proventrack recordof managing renewable energy assets and optimising their performance.
- Experience with financial modelling budgeting and financial analysis.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies operations and maintenance practices.
- Proficiencyin asset management software and tools.
- Advanced analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability toidentifyand resolve issues proactively.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate asset performance and financial data.
- Ability to develop and implement performance improvement strategies.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
