What Youll Do:
As the Production Associate you will operate Mold Press and Final Assembly area equipment as well as inspect the materials to ensure production quality and customer specification goals are met.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
- Receives and reviews the job assignment or work order to understand project and customer specifications.
- Performs the operation troubleshooting and material change over for various Molding and Press equipment ensuring a high-level of safety material quality and output goals are met.
- Performs various activities to prepare spray and vacuum seal plastic to the mold pattern ensuring the seal is accurate to eliminate leakage.
- Continually inspects repairs removes excess material sorts and stacks material to ensure a quality product.
- Performs a final count of finished product and stamps any final decals as necessary for adherence to customer specifications.
- Completes production records after the production run ensuring complete accurate and thorough information.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area for efficient processes.
Position Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; may consider equivalent course work with proven experience for the right individual.
- Experience: 1 years experience within a manufacturing environment is required.
- Certifications: N/a
- Functional Skills: Strong math & counting skills detail-oriented precise and accurate in their work. Ability to read and understand documents procedures and specifications along with ability to match part numbers accurately.
- Technology Skills: Basic computer skills; ability to operator interface with equipment; some data entry; Ability to bend reach kneel squat twist and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Communication Skills: Able to read comprehend and retain work instructions or complete the paperwork with good verbal and written communication skills.
- Leadership/ Behaviors: High safety minded individual with a strong work ethic and values focused on the customer quality and accuracy takes the time to do things right yet is flexible to cross-train and move to other priorities throughout the department.
- Culture Match: High energy motivated problem solvers and go getters - people that are on it and able to work together to find solutions.
Other Important Information:
Pay: Hourly Pay is commensurate with proven expertise and positive/professional behavior skills that fit the position.
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Core Hours: 5:00 am to 3:30 pm ET
Typical Work Week: Monday to Thursday; 40 - 45 hours a week on average (Overtime occasionally on Fridays as needed)
