Job Description Summary

International Business Bachelor or similar with 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry. Experience problem Solving Customs and Foreign Trade Specialist Free Trade Agreements (USMCA MERCOSUR ALADI Foreign Trade Programs (IMMEX PROSEC VAT Certification AEO) with their applicable systems (Annex 24 and 30) Experience with Mexican Regulatory Trade Compliance (SAT Customs and Ministry of Economy) Project Management in Customs and Tax Audits started by the Authorities.

Job Description:

The main responsibilities of the Analyst trade are:
To manage with the internal supplier the Free Trade Agreements besides USMCA.
Perform audits to the internal supplier processes regarding USMCA creation.
To coordinate with the internal supplier the request of certificates of origin to suppliers of raw materials.
To coordinate with the internal supplier the preparation and verification of the correct filling of USMCA Origin Certificates of raw materials and the qualification of Finished Products.
Audit of certificates of origin USMCA for suppliers that meet criteria of documentary support of rules of origin.
Perform audits regarding the HTS classification and USMCA creation.
To align HTS with the information with the custom broker and create new part number in Annex 24.
To manage the Sub maquila/Rule 8th process through the electronic actual Annex 24.
New Sub maquila supplier set up and Sub maquila Administration for Mx customs compliance.
Registration and cancellation of Sub maquila companies in the IMMEX Program.
To present the Sub maquila notices to the Customs authority by electronic means in accordance with the General Rules of Foreign Trade.
To provide the Report of exports of sub maquila operations to Sub maquila companies if required.
Administration control of balances and renewals of Rule 8th.
Comply with the following formalities required for the IMMEX PROSEC AEO Certification and VAT Certification program:
oCertifications renewals.
oSubmission of annual payments of certifications (AEO and VAT).
oCarriers registrations (AEO).
oRegister or cancelation of facilities domiciles.
oFiling notices modification of partners shareholders legal representatives board members national or foreign suppliers.
oThe Annual Report on Foreign Trade Operations (RAOCE) (IMMEX and PROSEC).
Electronic pedimento files audit.
Application for Sener permits.
Data Stage audits.
To present the Sub maquila notices to the Customs authority by electronic means in accordance with the General Rules of Foreign Trade.
To provide the Report of exports of sub maquila operations to Sub maquila companies if required.
Procedure maintenance and updates with the controls implemented.
Other activities inherent to the trade compliance department related to timely compliance with the formalities required by governmental or private authorities.
Participation in special projects aimed at ensuring proper compliance with the laws applicable in Mexico.
Provide training of their functions if required.
Solve problems and escalate them if needed through appropriate channels.

Required Skills and Education

International Business Supply Chain Management bachelors degree or similar.
3 to 5 years of work experience.
Mexican Regulatory Trade Compliance (SAT Customs and Ministry of Economy).
Good problem-solving and auditing skills.
Leadership and facilitation skills.
Availability to travel 15%-20%.
Project management experience.
Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Knowledge of Foreign Trade Programs: IMMEX and VAT Certification systems (Annex 24 and 30 respectively).
Analytical and focused on results.
Ability to communicate and work in a team.
Knowledge in certifications of origin of products by international agreements.
