The Red Cross Aged & Community Care programs strengthen social bonds and enhance quality of life for older and vulnerable Australians through a suite of services:TelechatTelecrossVisiting VolunteersMeal Delivery Transport Social Support Client reviewsAs an Admin Volunteer you will work behind the scenes to ensure these programs run smoothly handling essential coordination and clerical tasks that keep our volunteers and clients opportunityWe are seeking organised personable volunteers who enjoy helping people and are comfortable with technology and office systems. Key Requirements and Your Commitment:Be willing to join a nationwide team delivering social inclusion program within Aged and Community Care. Strong customer-service and administrative skills (data entry appointment scheduling phone/email correspondence)Ability to relate to and empathise with clients and volunteers from diverse backgrounds and abilitiesRespect the privacy rights and dignity of clients and maintain confidentiality with respect to information obtained during the delivery of appropriate digital systems and adhere to established work practices relevant to the timely and appropriate documentation of your interactions with clear professional relationships and respect clear boundaries to safeguard the well-being of the client and in mandatory learning and development to keep your knowledge skills and practices up-to-date in the aged and community care to upholding the principles outlined in the Aged Care Code of Conduct and any subsequent updates. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity by respecting diverse backgrounds and ensuring that all interactions are inclusive and free from discriminationRed Cross will ensure you have training ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the worlds largest humanitarian impactAs an admin volunteer you will be assisting Red Cross to deliver essential reliable and timely programs in the community.
