Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Veterinary Doctor to diagnose treat and care for animals while ensuring high standards of medical practice animal welfare and client satisfaction. The role involves preventive care medical treatment surgical procedures and client education.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Medical Responsibilities
Examine animals to diagnose illnesses injuries and medical conditions
Provide medical treatment vaccinations deworming and preventive healthcare
Perform minor and major surgical procedures when required
Prescribe medications and treatment plans
Monitor recovery and follow-up care
Handle emergency and critical care cases
Animal Care & Welfare
Ensure humane handling and welfare of animals at all times
Advise pet owners on nutrition hygiene and overall animal care
Maintain biosecurity and infection control protocols
Client Interaction
Educate pet owners about diagnosis treatment options and preventive care
Maintain clear communication with clients regarding animal health
Address client concerns with empathy and professionalism
Records & Compliance
Maintain accurate medical records and case histories
Ensure compliance with veterinary laws ethical standards and regulatory guidelines
Assist in audits inspections or reporting when required
Team Collaboration
Work closely with veterinary nurses assistants and support staff
Guide junior staff or interns when needed
Coordinate with external labs or specialists

Qualifications :
Qualifications & Skills
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor of Veterinary Science ( & A.H) Mandatory
Registered with the State Veterinary Council / VCI
Experience
Freshers or experienced candidates (as per requirement)
Experience in small animals / large animals / farm practice is a plus
Skills & Competencies
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
Compassionate and patient-focused approach
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle animals safely and confidently
Willingness to work flexible hours or emergencies (if required)
