The position involves providing speech therapy services in Livermore CA.

Responsibilities
- The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist providing therapeutic interventions to improve our clients communication abilities
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing treatment plans for clients with speech and language disorders
- Conduct speech and language screenings under the direction of the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Document client progress towards treatment goals and report this information to the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Provide direct therapy services to clients as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain equipment and supplies
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Adhere to all professional ethical and legal regulations as set out by the state licensing board and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Education and Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in speech-language pathology/communicative disorders or related field.
- 1 year of verifiable professional experience as a SLPA within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
- Valid California License as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant granted by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.
