Business Technology Architect

The Hiring Group is currently seeking a Business Technology Architect for our client in the Charlotte area. This is a direct hire position for our client.

Salary: $100000 to $110000 Depending on Experience

Location: Charlotte NC (Onsite)

What This Role Is About

We are looking for someone who enjoys bringing order to complex technology environments and holding external partners role combines business technology and vendor management. You will not be writing code or providing IT support. Instead you will be responsible for making sure outside technology partners clearly understand what the business needs and that they deliver on time on budget and to expectation.

What Youll Do Day to Day

• Act as the primary owner for relationships with external technology vendors and agencies
• Clearly translate business needs into defined scopes timelines and outcomes for vendors
• Run vendor check-ins status calls and delivery reviews
• Ensure vendor work stays aligned with business priorities and internal timelines
• Coordinate across internal teams such as Finance Operations Marketing and Technology
• Track vendor commitments progress risks and next steps
• Escalate issues when work is late unclear or off track
• Create structure where processes or ownership may be unclear
• Maintain documentation related to vendor ownership scope and delivery expectations

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree or higher in Business or Information Systems or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience managing technology vendors agencies or external partners
• Background owning or supporting business applications or enterprise systems such as Shopify Hubspot or NetSuite
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams
• Comfortable pushing for clarity accountability and results
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to work through ambiguity and create structure
• Experience working across multiple departments
