Description

The Harker After School Instrumental Music Program is currently seeking an experiencedviolin teacher for both private and group lessons.

Qualifications

Immediate need for a teacher on Thursdays from 3:30 to 6:45 pm
Experience working with elementary-level students ages 5-12
Lessons areafter-school Monday-Friday 3:30-6:45 pm depending on enrollment but are usually2-3days a week
Masters degree in performance and/or education preferred but notrequired
Private one-on-one teaching experience with general pedagogy use of method books along with supplementary materials
Conducting and leading groups and ensembles on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays is helpful but not required.
Ability toteachcello is helpful but not required
