Responsibilities
Location: Scott Air Force Base IL
Role & Responsibilities:
- This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on the way the Department of War projects and sustains its forces around the world.
- In this role you will develop dashboards user interfaces maps and other visualizations to transform data into actional information to provide leaders with time space and options in decision making.
- You will work to modernize the way USTRANSCOM operates and transform the command into a data-driven enterprise.
- Design and develop intuitive user interfaces to optimize the overall user experience.
- Create actionable and user-friendly dashboards maps and visualizations to help users consume information and make decisions.
- Work with data scientists and end users to refine usability and interface workflows.
- Advance the mission by connecting customers and their challenges with UI/UX solutions.
- Think creatively and challenge the state-of-the-art.
- Challenge and support teammates. Share ideas. Win together.
- Continuously improve the accuracy speed and efficacy of existing tools.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships to support USTRANSCOM.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years or relevantexperience with a BS/BA; Minimum of 3 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 0 years with PhD.
- Experience with development and implementation of enterprise-level UI/UX solutions.
- Demonstrated creative thinker with a mission-minded focus.
- Possess a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to persist in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Active DoW Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of various machine learning methods including classification regression time-series forecasting neural networks deep learning and artificial intelligence.
- Experience with Palantir Foundry.
- Experience with Python and/or PySpark.
