Workforce Training Coordinator

Due to a strong growth trajectory ahead for our Queensland Construction business we are seeking a Workforce Training Coordinator to develop implement coordinate and monitor programs and initiatives to ensure workforce training and participation targets commitments obligations and outcomes are achieved.

• Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and relevant external industry groups to drive workforce training and participation outcomes.
• Deliver presentations facilitate meetings and engage with various working groups to achieve desired workforce training and participation outcomes.
• Develop project-based programs and initiatives to increase participation and retention rates of apprentices and trainees and increase the uptake of construction workers completing education and training.
• Provide Queensland Government training policy support to project teams.
• Establish initiatives to strengthen the pipeline of marginalised candidates obtaining opportunities for employment and retention within the construction sector.

Qualifications :

The incumbent in this role will require:

• An understanding of the relevant training policies training services and guidelines within Queensland.
• Training administration experience gained in a medium to large organisation - ideally in the construction industry.
• Ability to work with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to lead the development of practical and engaging training programs.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
